Hey! I am Durga Chandran, currently a Senior Manager with Verizon India . I am more inclined towards learning new things and always have seen challenges as opportunities to excel . The idea of solving ... a complex problem excites and keeps me going. I feel uncomfortable in a comfortable environment and always look for ways to push my boundaries. I have great affinity towards mentoring and coaching fellow colleagues to see beyond their current capabilities and unlock and capitalize on their potential.

I want to be identified as honest, humane and approachable leader who gets happiness by bring up people, leading teams towards future with Vision, inspiring women to do more and identify their real strength within.All the values instilled in me via Verizon Culture & Credo.

My ideology goes like below and I derive my strength from my Supportive Family!!

What women should have is Clarity of thought and Strength not to let others define you!! Women should themselves come up with the choices that they wish to choose from. No one else should hold the authority to "allow" them choices that they can choose from and calling it empowerment or "giving" them freedom to choose. We are our own beings and we get to decide what we want to do. It need not be the right choice, we should never feel embarrassed about failures but rather be embarrassed to do something that you don't want to do but convince yourself to do because someone expects you to.
