You will be working as Web Developer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Project Manager and will be responsible for contributing to ABB's success with technology, software, product, and system development. Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to relevant problems. Providing ideas and is able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.

Your responsibilities

· Participating in drive applied solution, technology transfer projects resulting in concepts, prototypes, patents and academic publications

· Ensuring effective design, development, validation and supporting activities in line with the customer needs, architectural requirements and ABB Standards

· Supporting ABB business units through consulting engagements, taking design mockups provided by UX or UI designers and translate them into web pages or applications using HTML, CSS and ensuring that the design is faithfully replicated in the final product

· Creating responsive web designs that adapt to different screen sizes, devices using media queries and responsive design techniques

· Optimizing code, assets to improve page loading times and overall performance, which may involve techniques like code minification and image optimization. Using Git or other version control systems to manage code and collaborating with other team members

· Writing and maintaining JavaScript code to add interactivity and dynamic functionality to web pages. This may include user input handling, form validation and basic animations

Your background

· B.Tech or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent

· Minimum 4 years of Software Development experience - Building and Designing cloud applications using Microsoft Azure cloud technologies like Azure DevOps (VSTS), AZURE, GitHub, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Dockers and Kubernetes

· Working knowledge of .NET Core, Net6, .NET 4.5 Framework, Entity Framework, C#, Web Services, RESTful Services. Exposer on Design Patterns, Enterprise Library, UML, Agile, Waterfall Methodologies

· Good understanding of full stack, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap etc. Willingness to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of new technologies and application domains See Less
