In addition to the existing operations, new operations with contactless delivery and contactless paymenthave further demonstrated the requirement for robustandreusable transactional systems.Your Responsibility:* Help invent the next generation of ecommerce; integrated experiences that leverage the store, and the web to sell any consumer product, to anyone, anywhere in the world.* Help develop payment products for the next generation of challenges, including very high capacity, guaranteed availability, and mass market usability without compromising the quality.* Participate in Design and Creation of the next-generation Global Payments Service, providing holistic global support not just for credit cards but dozens of other payment methods: gift cards, checks, electronic funds transfer, COD, offline bank transfer, bill-me-later, subscription billing, mobile payments, etc.* Troubleshoots business and production issues by reviewing and analyzing information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause); engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; formulating an action plan; directing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; performs root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation.
* Supports business objectives by collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities; addressing high-priority initiatives (for example, business strategy, technical feasibility, implementation alternatives); identifying short- and long-term solutions; and leading cross-functional partnership.
* Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, Web Operations, project management, business and user experience teams; obtaining cross-function approvals; driving proof-of-concept; and implementing prototypes to validate ideas.* Understand business problems and suggest technology solutions* Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluations* Lead engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications using variety of languages and tools/technology stacks.* Publish and update technical architecture and user/process documentation.* Architect, design, build and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers.* You will need to exhibit strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with business, product, engineering and management across different geographic locations* Create and recommend solution design options factoring in requirements, standards and current Infrastructure environment. Communicate and present solutions to the other stakeholders* Guide and mentor other members in the team to promote highly technical and self- sufficient teams.
Minimum Qualification* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 10 years’ experience building scalable ecommerce applications* 5 or more years of experience programming in Java/J2EE, REST Services, and related technologies.* Hands on Experience with Hibernate, Spring, CXF.* Hands on experience with RDBMS (Oracle), PL/SQL.* Experience configuring & deploying applications on J2EE application server (Apache Tomcat, TomEE).* Expertise in cloud based SaaS application development.* Experience with UNIX shell and scripting.
Additional Preferred Qualifications* Experience with online credit card and/or other online payment methods.* Experience with CQRS and Event streaming architectures is a plus.* Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns* Experience with Frontend technologies (React/Redux).* Experience with cryptography/ key management.* Experience in building/implementing high performance & a scalable system.* Experience with secure integration patterns.* Knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code.* Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environmentOur Ideal CandidateYou are a Code Ninja who has conceptualized, developed and deployed substantially complex, business critical software components in his/her career.
