Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Integration Architect to join our team. As a Technical Integration Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing integration solutions for SaaS platforms, utilizing technologies such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, NoSQL databases, Workato, MuleSoft, and other relevant frameworks. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless and efficient integration of diverse systems to meet our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Integration Solution Design:

○ Lead the design and architecture of integration solutions for SaaS platforms, ensuring they align with business requirements and scalability needs.

○ Evaluate existing integration capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.

2. Technical Expertise:

○ Utilize expertise in Node.js, Workato, MuleSoft, and other relevant technologies to develop and implement robust integration solutions.

○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and support for integration-related development activities.

3. Integration Framework Development:

○ Create and maintain integration frameworks and patterns that enhance the efficiency and reliability of integrations across various SaaS platforms.

○ Define best practices and coding standards for integration development.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

○ Collaborate with stakeholders, including software engineers, product managers, and business analysts, to gather integration requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

○ Communicate integration designs and approaches effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

5. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

○ Address complex integration challenges and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth integration operations and minimize disruptions to services.

6. Quality Assurance:

○ Develop and implement integration testing strategies to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of integration solutions.

○ Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality integration standards.

7. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

○ Document integration architecture, design decisions, and implementation details for future reference and knowledge sharing.

○ Conduct training sessions and workshops to share knowledge and enhance the integration capabilities of the team.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

● Proven experience (10+ years) in designing and implementing integrations for SaaS platforms using Node.js, Workato, MuleSoft, and other relevant technologies.

● Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and best practices.

● Experience with API design, RESTful services, and message queuing systems.

● Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools (e.g., Node.js, JavaScript, JSON, XML, OAuth, GraphQL).

● Experience in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js), to design user interfaces for integrated systems.

● Experience in databases, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB), and experience in designing and optimising database queries.

● Experience implementing Single Sign-On solutions for seamless and secure user authentication across multiple systems.

● Familiarity with various authentication protocols such as OAuth and OpenID Connect.

● Experience with message-oriented middleware (MOM) and enterprise service bus (ESB) concepts.

● Knowledge of integration platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, etc.

● Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architecture is a plus.

● Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, especially in the context of integration and data exchange.

● Leadership abilities to guide and influence development teams in implementing integration solutions.

● Strong documentation skills to maintain clear and comprehensive software architecture, design, and code records.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

● Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
