You will be working as Digital Principal Software Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Digital Solution Engineering Manager and will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of software engineers in one or more areas such as software development, software quality assurance, software testing, DevOps, cybersecurity and release management for complete solutions. Ensuring the team can execute assigned design and development activities with focus on building efficient and cost-effective solutions, in accordance with quality standards.

Your responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of software quality within the team by establishing best industry practices. Extensive experience on establishing a suitable DevOps channel across the platforms

• Guiding the team to setup a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process

• Identify and encouraging areas for growth and improvement within the team

• Collaborating with other software developers, business analysts and software architects for planning, designing, developing and testing the software applications

• Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans

• Working with the managers and other stakeholders to develop team goals and delegating tasks to the appropriate team member

• Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status of the project

Your background

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

• Minimum 10 to 14 years of experience in application development skills (Angular, React, .net core C# Full stack), Dashboards, Data Science, Analytics, AI & ML, ETL, Databases, Security, DevOps & deployment automation

• Experience in data analyst, domain skills and advance features and coding guidelines, .Net standard and framework

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and familiarity with other cloud platforms and concepts

• Experience on application containerization concepts and tooling (e.g. Docker or Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)

• Good knowledge of various virtualization, language, database and test technologies
