You will be working as Senior Project Engineer – Automation and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Principal Project Engineer and will be responsible for completing assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for startup and commissioning, troubleshooting of system and technical support

• Focusing and leading standardization activities to enhance productivity of engineering

• Implementing of reusable solutions, quality deliverables and accountability for on time delivery

• Managing and mentoring a team of automation engineers

• Developing of design documents and project deliverables as per project / process / domain requirement specifications

• Reviewing all project documents for conformity, safety, cybersecurity and quality assurance requirements

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in control and instrumentation engineering

• Require 8 to 12 years of experience in design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions for chemical and specialty chemical segments

• Good to have ABB 800xa

• Experience in IEC Standards, design, application programming and project management (desirable)

• Excellent knowledge /experience of development in software for the process as relevant to the industry domain

• Proven knowledge of software and hardware design, commissioning and test experience with any of the DCS See Less
