You will be working as Robot Commissioning Engineer and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation business for BA Function Operations, Quality & HSE based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for executing the on-site commissioning of our modular cells and turnkey smart systems at our customer’s premises. Configuring and setting up robotic cells on-site, at different customers, worldwide.
Your responsibilities
• Preparing the offline configuration of a cell or system, based on input and information that’s coming from the engineering team
• Executing robot calibration and tuning of all work objects, robot targets, etc
• Testing all robot movements or paths and provide the required fine-tuning
• Acting as the liaison between the on-site commissioning team and the engineering team in the back office
• Setting up interfaces with systems from other partners and subcontractors

Your background
• Bachelor’s degree in in electromechanics, electronics or automation engineering (or equivalent by experience)
• Require 5 to 6 years of experience
• Hands on experience with allications like material handling , pick and place application and welding application
• Good knowledge on robot programming
• Experience with ABB Robot, experience in simulation software \ robot studio
