You will be working as Project Manager Operations and will be part of Process Automation business for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Operations Manager and will be responsible for ensuring operations are executed in accordance with company procedures, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets and schedule commitments. Coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve effectiveness of project execution teams.

Your responsibilities

• Leading implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for the local or regional project operation under the guidance of the global / regional Project Operations Manager

• Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls and SOX requirements.

• Leading and overseeing the local project execution team, ensuring that ABB policies are consistently followed

• Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfilment and approves any project deviations

• Ensuring that projects consistently apply contract and claims management methodologies, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements and in interaction and close collaboration with respective functions

• Ensuring that the area of responsibility is structured to fit the business model, sufficiently staffed with skilled resources and directed appropriately

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Require more than 15 years of experience in process industries with end to end project management, stakeholder management, team management and customer management

• Good knowledge in SAP, Primevera, project scheduled, MS Projects

• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
