You will collaborate with business and development teams across the company to define requirements, design high level process, and manage all aspects of the program execution – including writing business requirements, maintaining the project schedule, resolving or mitigating issues and risks, and communicating results throughout the organization.You will interface and drive agenda with the automation, technology and business teams to build scalable programs. The role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and business goals. A successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels of detail to accomplish team/organization goals. The ideal candidate actively seeks to understand Amazon’s core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday practices.Key responsibilities:Some of the key result areas include, but not limited to:
  • · Responsibility for meeting Program Goals
  • · Driving appropriate process improvement projects, data oriented analysis and adoption of technology solutions to achieve operational and business goals
  • · Managing stakeholder communication across multiple lines of business on operational milestones, process changes and escalations
  • · Identify automation gaps with product teams to build scalable solutions to manage business needs at scale
  • · Providing project management and cross-functional support on key improvement initiatives
  • · Disseminating program & strategy updates to internal and external stakeholders Must haves:
  • · Ability to work in a highly complex business that requires cross functional coordination
  • · High ability to influence senior stakeholders to prioritize use cases for defect reduction
  • · Independent decision making
  • · Continue to push stakeholders to think big in developing or re-design processes and systems that can create transformational business impact.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree from Tier 1 B-school
  • 4+ years program management experience
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills
  • Expert ability in Excel e.g. macros, data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated success leading project delivery for cross functional programs
  • Demonstrated record of partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal/team skills
  • Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiencies of existing systems and processes
