Sun Life is building out its process automation capabilities, and expanding a US-based team to identify, configure, deploy and support bots and other solutions that can automate manual tasks, improve the client experience and allow our employees to focus on higher-value activities.

Sun Life is seeking an experienced Senior Robotics Delivery Lead. The successful candidate will join a high-performing team in delivering and supporting robotic process automations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Delivery, the Robotics Delivery Lead position requires extensive knowledge in the assessment of business processes for automation to identify/qualify the opportunities and design of automated solutions using varied Automation and integration technologies and platforms such as RPA Tools, Power platform, Python, Microservices, IDP Platform, Workflows etc. The candidate will collaborate with functional owners, development teams, and IT teams to identify, conceptualize, and deliver transformative RPA opportunities.

Your scope of work / key responsibilities

· Collaborate with various internal business units, technology teams, and vendors to identify, conceptualize, and deliver transformative automation opportunities.

· Manage a Team of developers and analysts, also responsible for IT Project Management for RPA

· Understand business processes and requirements, design framework and solutions which automate or improve the existing process.

· Work as a bridge between the Business and Technology Teams to analyze and assess automation feasibility and deploy automation solution.

· Responsible for the timely delivery and quality of the solutions provided, also maximizing both qualitative and quantitative business benefit.

· Drive RPA Projects by closely working with various Sunlife Teams (Platform, IT, Network, Server, Database, Security etc.)

· Leading and managing a technical team.

Education, Experience & Technical Competencies

· Required engineering degree with 10+ years of IT experience.

· At least 5 years of experience in architecture, development, deployment and scheduling of RPA and Digital solutions.

· Experience in managing RPA projects from initiation to closure.

· Demonstrated project management skills and familiarity with Agile and scrum philosophies and techniques.

· Knowledge of Document Digitization solutions – Hyper Science, Kofax or cloud services from AWS, GCP or Azure (These are all good to have and not mandatory)

· Knowledge of Lean process improvement practices desired

· Preferred project management certifications PMP, Prince 2

· Preferred AD01, APD01, ASD01 certification from Blue Prism
