• Expertise in performance Engineering, Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup.

• Hands-on expertise in Performance Testing tools using JMeter / Blazemeter / Taurus framework.

• Hands-on experience in handling various performance tests like Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests.

• Expertise in Cloud application logs monitoring to determine system behavior. ( exposure to tools like Splunk, Grafana, ELK, VictorOps )

• Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection, and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications. ( Exposure to JConsole, VisualVM, Zabbix, Cloudwatch)

• Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application. ( exposure to Linux/Windows tools for performance analysis)

• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and good time management skills.

• Through understanding of APIs/Microservices testing ( Exposure to Web Architecture, REST API, and tools Postman)

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/Google Cloud and virtualization concepts.

• Experience with profiling tools, dump analyzers, and various optimization techniques. (Exposure to tools like perfmon, JProfiler, Appdynamics)

• Thorough understanding of SQL and exposure to DB performance analysis techniques and tools

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with CentOS/RedHat/Windows operating system

Roles and responsibilities

• Design and develop performance test Scripts for a given platform requirements

• Ability to understand the production/customer profile and propose performance test requirements.

• Participate in production triage, understand the performance bottleneck in the system, analysis, and fixes

• Ability to prepare and model the performance test data.

• Work closely with the technical program manager and engineering teams to improve application performance.

• Ability to represent as a Performance Testing SPOC

• Be able to setup a Performance Test Environment independently.

• Should be able to guide and mentor junior engineers in the team/section/LAB.
