The RBS group in Chennai is an integral part of Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and online user experience.We are looking for a Bangalore based Process automation expert for Retail business services team. This person will lead the process automation initiatives and create long term plan in collaboration with operations and Tech teams to drive automation of processes/tools and reporting.Roles and Responsibility include but not limited to-You will be responsible for identifying, planning and executing the large scale process automation initiatives. You will be expected to invent on customer's behalf.
Creating scripts to automate manual workflows to reduce turn around time in defect resolution process
Work closely with internal product and project teams to design scalable and auto-resolution solution.
Manage the team of automation experts working towards the common goa
Create a vision for the automation team to automate transactional tasks, expand scope and create sustainable solutions
Formulate, Implement, Track career path & Individual Development Plans of each member in the Team
Working closely with Tech teams
The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks at once and able to work independently. You must be able to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages. You must be able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, work to improve the customer experience, and get the right things done.Basic QualificationsQualification & Experience:Education: Engineer or MBA (preferably in CS or relevant technical field)
Proficiency in Python, C#, VBA, SQL
Familiarity with libraries such as Selenium, Beautifulsoup, Pandas, numpy, nodeJS, etc
.Net Framework expertise
To be able to think structurally and explain tech solutions in simple terms
(If required only) 24/7/365 availability, including willingness to work on weekends, and outside of the "standard" work day
To receive security clearance all candidates must undergo a background check
Mentor and guide automation engineers and SMEs to conceptualize, design and deliver automation solutions to the team
Manage the team and ensure high service delivery and execution
Vendor management
Preferred Qualifications8+ years of experience in automation development
Proficiency in Python, C#, VBA
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries
Familiarity with libraries such as Selenium, Beautifulsoup, Pandas, numpy, nodeJS, etc
.Net Framework expertise
To be able to think structurally and explain tech solutions in simple terms
Knowledge of Internet technologies (Browsers, HTML, Databases)
Six sigma black belt level capabilities in deconstructing processes and metrics, to identify areas of opportunity and lead the development and implementation of new processes
Strong influencing skills and negotiation skills
