This position requires a business intelligence leader with a blend of strategic thinking on approaches to solve business challenges, with heavy focus on advanced visualization technologies to efficiently direct technical development resources and business acumen to help delivery leads with engaging with business customers. This role will be responsible to deliver a portfolio of business intelligence, with both large global programs and several small ones. It requires high business facing interaction, doing executive messaging which requires strong negotiation within a dynamic business environment. This role is accountable to develop strategic solutions within the Business Intelligence space. New areas of focus may source projects from:

2. Chief Data Office-sponsored analytics programs
3. Global Insights
4. R&D analytics

For the longer-term, this role will continue to drive additional solutions with an emphasis on integrating advanced analytics / data science / ML / AI capabilities in visualizations. This role will be well positioned to leverage and scale these solutions to other markets and sectors if needed.
With each of the targeted initiatives, this role is required to build a team, identify leaders, establish a development process and support the team to successfully develop while generating business messaging to bring them along the journey. This role will need to embrace the SAFe Agile delivery model and
DevOps leveraging a highly technical team with experience on cloud-based analytics development.This role will support the following activities :
- Accountable to build teams that can execute complex Business Intelligence solutions
- Establish a development process that aligns with PEP’s goals (SAFe Agile), support the process with appropriate guidance and structure
- Support strategic integration into Global programs
- Deliver strong business partnerships and communications with the team, business and extended IT teams- This requires this role to build significant PepsiCo business knowledge, many soft skills as well has a keen understanding of the new cloud capabilities:
- Solid business understanding of CPG and PepsiCo with a quick acumen for new subject areas
- Simplify communications of visualization components to a broader IT and business audience
- Lean into the design of visualization solutions and ensure estimate / costing is accurate
- Generate business report-outs with meaningful insights (PPT)
- Simplify complex analytical solutions within a broader IT project program for the business as well as extended IT team members- Accountable to lead the requirements gathering, business discussions, design, develop and execution visualization solutions
- Expected to lead multiple large initiatives per year with high complexities annually while enabling the business a high ROI when using the insights
- Expand the use of visualization technologies primarily. Microsoft PowerBI (dashboards, natural language query, automated insight generation). Other technologies will include Tellius (Insight
exploration), Automated Insights (other Natural Language Generation solutions), Tableau (alternate BI
platform), visual development with R-Shiny, React.js.
