Taking a Break: In case of maternity, adoption of a child less than 3 years in age, and commissioning motherhood in case of surrogacy, 26 weeks of paid maternity leave is provided to women employees.
Medical Coverage: Our medical insurance program has a competitive coverage for maternity and any complications arising out of maternity.
Returning to work support: Reimbursement of creche expenses up to 12,000 INR per child (up to 6 years of age) in any day-care of their choice is provided to our women employees
We understand that new mothers are balancing multiple priorities and have different programs that enable them to better manage their return to work. We also provide a 24/7 support helpline to all our employees to address any emotional wellness and stress related challenges they may face.
1. Women leadership
a) WIN network: Women inclusion network is led by women for women, a forum that leads the women development agenda at PepsiCo. WIN has been driving skill based mentoring session to develop women with a key focus to keep women inspired at the organization by having our internal leaders conduct leadership sessions.
b) #MenWhoWin: A focus on developing allyship culture, to support successful careers for women in PepsiCo. Developing awareness of our unconscious biases, through trainings across the organization, is a key approach towards building the allyship culture.
c) Million Women Mentors: This global program will have women leaders at PepsiCo Hyderabad office being mentored by global PepsiCo leaders from across the world, to build continued focus in the space of STEM skills in the organization.
2. LGBTQ: Initiatives driven by our global EQUAL program, which focuses on building an inclusive environment at workplace. EQUAL helps us build a culture of awareness and drive the inclusion focus on LGBTQ through an employee resource group to develop suitable initiatives.
