As a Travel Counsellor, you will be responsible for assisting clients with all aspects of their travel needs, from itinerary planning to costing and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction throughout their journey. Your role will involve extensive client interaction, outbound travel coordination, and managing day-to-day operations efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Itinerary Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budget constraints. Create customized travel itineraries tailored to their needs, including transportation, accommodations, activities, and attractions.
Costing: Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for proposed travel itineraries. Research and negotiate with vendors to secure the best deals on flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities while maintaining profitability for the agency.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service. Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
Outbound Travel Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of outbound travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities. Ensure that all travel arrangements align with client preferences and meet their expectations.
Day-to-Day Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the travel agency efficiently. This includes handling reservations, processing payments, preparing travel documents, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
Requirements:Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, attractions, and travel products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Proficiency in itinerary planning and costing, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with travel booking systems and software is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
