We are excited to introduce Pluralsight’s Returnship Program designed specifically for Indian women who have taken a career break for at least 2 years and are eager to re-enter the dynamic world of technology. This opportunity combines a structured academy approach with hands-on experience within a supportive team environment, empowering participants to update their skills, gain confidence, and successfully reintegrate into the tech workforce. The program is a paid internship lasting six months from [April 15th, 2024 - October 11th, 2024]. The Opportunity

In this Returnship Program, you will be trained by a cross-functional team that consists of other software engineers, designers, and product managers, as well as others. As the leader in professional online developer and IT training, we are keen to contribute back to the society by way of this program. The training will consist of learning and growing on our full stack development, DevOps and Engineering.

What you'll be trained on:

• Design, build, and support high performance distributed systems
• Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and participate in design discussions about architecture, data shape, and business logic
• Understanding basic and advanced principles of: Source Control, Unit Testing, Test Driven Development, and possibly Pair or Mob Programming, DevOps

Experience you’ll need:

• The Returnship Program is reserved for women. The program is open to women who hold Indian citizenship and currently reside within the geographical boundaries of Bangalore, India.
• An engineering graduate with computer science or information technology background
• Previously worked in software development for 2+ years
• On a career break for at least 2+ years and currently not actively associated with any employer in any capacity
• Familiarity or interest in learning some of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React TypeScript, Node JS, C#, Python, SQL, or other technologies
• Familiarity or interest in learning Ruby on Rails (cloud team)
• Familiarity or interest in test driven development and collaborative programming, the software development life cycle, building RESTful Web Services
• Must be able to travel to the Pluralsight Bangalore office a minimum of 2 times per week (Mondays and Thursdays) for program training sessions
• Ability to interact well in a team environment
