JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Software Engineer – Big Data will be responsible for the following:Design, Development and Deployment of various Big Data Engineering Pipelines.
Hands on development, Programming and Testing/Validation of Big Data Engineering Pipelines.
Data Engineering
Implementation of Cloud Technologies
QUALIFICATION
B.E/B.Tech in Computer Sciences, IT, Engineering
EXPERIENCE
· 2 to 5 years of Programming experience in Hadoop, Spark, Scala/Python· Critical Thinking and passion to learn/deliverHands on experience of Big Data and Cloud Technologies ( Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Unix, SQL, Python, Python Flask API, Hive, HQL )
Basic understanding of Cloud Computing fundamentals – AWS
Basic understanding of SQL or NoSQL DBs
Good written and spoken communications in English
API/Micro Services development experience is required
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
· Data engineering basics· Data Warehouse concepts and some experience in college projects· Knowledge on Big Data Technologies is highly desirable.· Hands on Python/Scala/Java programming expertise. Must have worked on Jupyter notebooks/IntelliJ/Anaconda environments· Preference to whoever has completed additional programs in Cloud technologies AWS/Azure/GCP
