Position Purpose & Summary

To support the business requirements for the provision of internal applications services. To undertake the implementationof application developments, including defined projects where assigned. To deliver an effective support and maintenance service for identified business applications.

Principal Accountabilities

•To support the business requirements for the provision of internal applications management services. 5%
•To understand business requirements and provide optimal solutions through development and consultation. Develop the modules, create wire frames, understand any interfaces and look for potential issues. Actively engage with business to understand their problems and look for opportunities for areas of improvement using sharepoint technology

•To liaise with IT infrastructure services, in support of applications maintenance and development activities.

•To co-ordinate and assist each line of business with opportunities for shared applications and common business efficiencies. 5%
•To define, plan and manage releases of application updates. 5%
•To support improvement initiatives involving business applications5%
•To support the strategy for strategic, tactical and maintenance activities5%
•To take responsibility for: time management, reporting and monitoring, risk management; issue management; quality assurance and change management

•To act as technical expert for existing sharepoint internal applications and support future enhancements. Act as an SME for the other team members and off-the-clock resources as appropriate to the implementation of application related activities15%

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications
•Bachelors Degree in Business, IT or Computer Science.
•Significant development experience, in a role that requires application development in
•a project environment. Aware of industry and professional standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
•7-10 years of experience.
•Sharepoint 2013
•Sharepoint online
•Javascript; JQuery, angular JS, knock out JS;
•development frameworks;
•CSS; Sharepoint site designs, UI.
•Sharepoint reporting tools; Power BI,.
•ASP.NET and extensively working on Rest API
•Extensively working on the azure platform; and good knowledge. Good knowledge on the new SPFx framework, power apps, flows, one drive teams.
•Training – SharePoint certifications
•Skills – Familiar with application development tools (SharePoint 2013, Office 365, Visual Studio, scripting language).
•Scripting language: Javascript; JQuery; Angular JS; node js JS; development frameworks; CSS; SharePoint site designs; UI.
•SharePoint reporting tools: Power BI.
•Familiar with methods and techniques for structured reviews.
•Analytical Thinking – Good at acquiring an understanding of a problem or situation, and developing an approach to interacting with the situation.
•Strategic Perspective – Needs to keep overall objectives and strategies in mind, and not be deflected by matters of detail.
•Stress Handling -Retaining objectivity and proper understanding of a problem or situation when placed under conditions of stress
•Applying standards – Good in the application of relevant industry and process standards to all tasks undertaken.
