We are seeking a Senior Manager to join the Sales and Use Tax practice in our Bangalore office. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

• Managing sales tax compliance process for clients sales tax returns

• Interacting with clients and managing staff

• Corresponding with state and local tax authorities to resolve client issues

• Notice resolution and business licenses for clients

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience with sales tax compliance

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field a plus

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

• Experience with sales tax preparation software such as Vertex, Avalara, One Source or TaxJar etc.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Alteryx or Power BI a plus; Quickbooks, Shopify and Stripe platforms

• Understanding of sales and use tax issues, including exemption, deductions, prepayments, tax accruals and reserves, journal entries.

• Experience working directly with clients and global counterparts.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

• CMI (sales tax) designation a plus

• Masters in Taxation preferred
