Our project team is generally composed of cross-functional, self managed individuals who bring experience in need sensing, ideation, solution articulation, architecture, design, engineering, testing and support.At Codewave we do not have traditional project management roles - instead we have BA-PMs who are product thinkers & participative leaders, who articulate business requirements, document use-cases/wireframes, breakdown work for simplicity & clarity, drive scrum ceremonies & insightfully enable agile delivery.BA = Business Analyst, PM = Project Manager / Scrum MasterAs a BA-PM, I would..Work with business, product, design & technology leaders in the industry, to sense needs, mirror ideas, articulate why, what, how & when and propose a team to move ideas to reality.Be the single point of contact to the customer (demand side) and internal team (supply side) for all business requirement elaboration activities and overall software delivery.As a BA-PM I would be focusing on the following:Engage with the client stakeholders to understand and sometimes help them define their vision/problem statement. This requires conducting and facilitating design-thinking workshops with senior business/product/technology executives of the customer. Document key outcomes.Work with Codewave team members (technology, experience design, quality analysts) to estimate efforts and arrive at the solution delivery roadmap for the identified problem. Inspire incredibly talented delivery teams and individuals.Orchestrate the design and building of critical and complex custom-designed, digital business applications/systems that use a wide range of the latest technologies (cloud/edge). Deliver project briefing & onboarding for new teams and team members.Work with our clients to understand their needs and challenges and help to formulate the delivery road map and project plans required to support their business strategies and goals.Present the solution delivery roadmap to all stakeholders and help build consensus, earn the trust of the client as an expert advisor who is working to realize their vision.Understand and communicate project vision, objectives, scope and priorities to teams. Define monthly milestones & weekly sprint plans - with work breakdown & estimates, for teams to plan their efforts.Progressively elaborate requirements with analysis of the business, carving out user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization of work along with the client's product manager, working with the delivery team to arrive at estimates, plan releases and showcase of deliverables to client stakeholders.Run weekly sprints, track planned versus accomplished, perform retrospectives and manage SOW/backlog. Communicate sprint health & progress to customers. Build a collaborative relationship with client stakeholders to jointly identify and mitigate risks.Work closely with the delivery team to facilitate the timely delivery, build consensus within the team on the solution approach while ensuring that the desired business outcomes of the client are met. Formulate and manage release & delivery plans.Mentor / work with other Business analysts in the Codewave team on a regular basis with specific focus on stakeholder management and solution delivery, as well as visioning skills.Some experience in delivering software projects using Agile (Scrum) practices or similar frameworksGood facilitation and communication skills with experience in interacting with senior leadersPassionate about developing great software and products with the capability to balance the business priorities with user requirementsWork in an informal, collaborative, transparent, non-hierarchal, ego-free culture where your talent is valued over a role titleManaging budget and tracking to actuals with regular reporting to the client. Ensuring non development activities such as usability testing, deployment plans, etc, are planned for and managed synchronouslyBuild positive team dynamics and relationships between Codewave and client staff; remedying any dysfunction, to maintain a healthy and productive communityMaintain, and deepen where possible, existing client relationships to yield continuing opportunities for Codewave.Capture innovations, lessons learned and successes on projects and share them with the wider Codewave communityTechnical know-how on technologies / frameworks like Angular / React / React Native in frontend & NodeJS / Python, Understanding of CI / CD best practices is a plus.
