This position is funded by Optum Rx Controllership to work on automation tools that have been built and/or require development, improvements, and maintenance. This position has responsibility of the development, improvements, and maintenance on controllership automation tools, it requires resources to work on business requirements and follow Optum Coding standards and work on new projects in Advanced SQL, Power BI, Python, and Power apps and Azure DevOps. Developer responsibilities include writing and testing programs for business processes in SAS Projects. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Works with minimal guidance or on routine issues/activities

• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, data modelling, dependency and workload management

• Tracks, identifies, and promptly reports issues that may affect solution quality and bring forward improvement recommendations

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of experience on Advanced SQL and exposure to Microsoft BI technologies (PowerBI and Power apps)

• Experience with relational Database: Advanced SQL, PowerBI , Power apps and Azure devops

• Experience in manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets.

• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement

• Have knowledge in data warehousing

• Have knowledge on GitHub Integration with Azure Devops

• Awareness of the operational characteristics (e.g., security, performance, scalability, manageability) of solutions and is accountable for supporting those requirements in contributed code.

• Understands regulatory environment, sales and digital experience, and channel.

• Knowledgeable about current security controls.

• Understand business requirements, follow Optum Coding standards and work on new projects in Advanced SQL, PowerBI, Python, and Power apps

• Knowledge of technologies and understands the technologies used by an engineering team

• Proven solid analytics skills related to working with unstructured datasets
