Job Description
We’re looking for a Commercial Finance Analystwho expects more from their career.It’s a chance to extend and improve dunnhumby’s Commercial Finance Team.You will be an integral member of the Finance Business Partnering team and a key contributor in producing strategic and financial reporting.
Your role will be to provide insight and analysis to Commercial team stakeholders, helping to influence and drive actions across both project and operating expenditure. You’ll work collaboratively with your commercial stakeholders to manage budgets, drive forecast accuracy, analyse performance and challenge decisions all whist focusing on value creation.
What we expect from you
- 3 to 5 years of experience required
- Semi-Qualified Accountant / MBA – Finance or Equivalent Degree
- Substantial experience in revenue recognition and project accounting
- Work with Business Leadership teams to help them better understand, improve, and deliver financial performance as well as support strategic commercial out

What we expect from you

- Support the Commercial teams (sales, business development and Marketing) on appraisals and forecasting too
- Drive value and growth through providing financial support and development of insightful financial management information for the business and leadership teams
- Communicate monthly and YTD results highlighting key variances to date and their potential implications going forward.
- Support the annual budgeting, planning, reforecasting and 5 year Long Range Planning processes and track and report on revenue performance.
- Tracking KPIs to drive profitability and improve business performance and contribute to the development of standard business cases for capital investments.
