We’re looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst/FP& Awho expects more from their career. It’s a chance to extend and improve dunnhumby’s Commercial Finance Team. You will be an integral member of the Finance Business Partnering team and a key contributor in producing strategic and financial reporting.

Your role will be to provide insight and analysis to Commercial team stakeholders, helping to influence and drive actions across both project and operating expenditure. You’ll work collaboratively with your commercial stakeholders to manage budgets, drive forecast accuracy, analyse performance and challenge decisions all whist focusing on value creation

What we expect from you

4 to 6 years of exposure to Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Modelling and Reporting activities
Semi-Qualified Accountant / MBA – Finance or Equivalent Degree
Substantial experience in revenue recognition and project accounting
Work with Business Leadership teams to help them better understand, improve, and deliver financial performance as well as support strategic commercial outcomes.
Support the Commercial teams on Monthly Variable Recharges
Drive value and growth through providing financial support and development of insightful financial management information for the business and leadership teams
Communicate monthly and YTD results highlighting key variances to date and their potential implications going forward.
Support the annual budgeting, planning and Forecasting
Tracking KPIs to drive profitability and improve business performance and contribute to the development of standard business cases for capital investments.

· Managing companies financial accounting, monitoring and reporting exercise

· Monitoring P & L items on a monthly basis and see that the contribution to the group against the budgeted figures

· Contribute to the development of new financial models

· Improve financial reporting tools and techniques in order to provide meaningful, insightful and valuable intelligence to the business.

· Controllership Role- Preferable if experience on APAC- G2

What we expect from you

· 3 to 5 years Direct and Indirect Taxation experience

· Experience of managing compliances for India entity

· Responsible for managing the audit for the assigned entities, coordinating local, central and 3rd party response.

· Manage the controlled entities’ financial close process. Resolve issues as required and ensure on-time close for all controlled entities; review results end-to end and provide commentary on P&L and B-S effects and analysis versus prior year.

· Prepare or oversee the accurate and timely preparation of statutory filings and supporting commentary for all controlled entities,and submit to signatory for sign-off.

· Create the statutory to corporate reconciliation on a quarterly basis and ensure differences are understood.

· Provide the accounting contributions for Cash Flow and B-S forecast, plan and budget to the central controllership and planning and performance teams.

· Ensure that local compliance local are understood and that the entities fulfil compliance reporting and filing requirements as well as financial requirements for liquidity and capitalisation.

· Identify and implement process and systems improvements in order to streamline activities and enable increased focus on results analysis

· Qualified MBA/ Semi Qualified CA
