Job Description
CB Operations Control ManagementThe Commercial Banking (CB) Control team is seeking a highly qualified individual to take on a new role in Commercial Banking to perform centralized testing for processes that are common across the CB. Centralized testing will ensure that we have a solid QA and QC program within our RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) program. The incumbent will be assigned specific processes that will be tested monthly and will also participate in peer reviews (Quality Control). The incumbent will become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) with regard to the testing and will follow the same testing methodology as they test the processes across the CB Businesses. As new processes come into the group/utility the incumbent will participate in meetings that will help define the testing methodology and they will help document the process.Responsibilities:
- Perform testing for common practices/processes across the CB
- Maintain/adhere to the testing program calendar
- Prepare sample documenta

- Prepare sample documentation as requested to back up test results
- Interact with the Testing Manager and the Ops Execs and their designees as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Evaluate methods and processes and make recommendations for improvement
- Identify and help resolve issues
- File test results in the chosen repository (in an organized fashion)
- Work with Business to enhance control gaps
- People management – Team meetings, career planning, performance review management
- Qualifications and Competencies
- Minimum10 years working experience
- Experience in the administration of Regulatory, Compliance related processes is a plus
- Good People management skills, Career management, coaching and performance review management
- Experience in a testing environment is a plus
- Experience in an Audit function is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with various levels of management
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Ability to present information in a concise and effective manner
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
