Intelligent Automation (IA), is a business transformation journey which starts with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and evolves all the way to cognitive, machine learning, intelligent Chabot’s, and artificial intelligence. The implementation of IA has become highly strategic to Cargill, with the target of improving significantly the process quality,the customer experience, and the aim of delivering cost reduction. The CBS Global IT IA leader will drive the delivery of IA solutions that will be transformational agent to shift the organization to new ways of working enabling Cargill to become a data-driven intelligent enterprise.
In Review, this position will have accountabilities in the following areas:
• Visionary leader to drive delivery of IA solutions for Cargill
• Engaged leader and recruiter of talent and high performing team
• Owner of the CBS Global IT portfolio/service strategy for delivery of IA solutions.
• Delivery oversight of program/project delivery and operations for the software development capability and developed solutions.
• Budget oversight for CBS Global IT IA portfolio across all CBS centers
• Guides innovation/transformation and continuous improvement efforts in the IA space.
• Delivers against key business and operational SLA’s/KPI’s across the delivery ecosystem. Manages key vendor relationships for both software and services partners.
• Drives appropriate standardization and uniqueness across the portfolio.
Chief evangelist internal/external for technical delivery to bring new ideas, collaboration and benchmarks to improve what and how we perform.

Principal Accountabilities -
50% Manage Delivery Strategy and Execution for CBS IA Portfolio -• Create and execute strategies to effectively and efficiently deliver design and build activities within and across multiple application process domains and regions.
• Create and execute strategies to effectively and efficiently deliver maintenance and support activities within and across multiple application process domains and regions.
• Manages development, quality, service delivery and governance in alignment with the IA portfolio strategy and architecture
• Monitors service performance measures of CBS ACES Portfolio in alignment with the ITIL Service Level Management Process
• Develop and implement strategic and flexible resource and delivery models to satisfy long term view of demand and provide delivery model in alignment with Global IT Strategy.
• Partner with strategic sourcing and supplier governance office to effectively leverage internal and external technical delivery capabilities creating scalable and globally consumable models.
• Lead and incorporate industry best practices around design, build, development life cycle, and incident ensuring CBS Global IT IA team follows Global IT established design & build standards.
• Champion, lead, and align in activities to enable Global IT function strategy and initiatives
• Actively work with the IA lead and program leads to provide inputs to developing the IA roadmap and implementation plans
• Actively participate, drive, and bring thought leadership to functional and commercial assessments for Digital Tools and Automation
• Lead the delivery of the business cases for the Intelligent Automation Solutions
• Develop, Incubate, Pilot new technologies and solutions in the Area of Intelligent Automation with the ability to scale up to deliver the Digital objectives and targets for the respective businesses in collaboration with Digital Labs
25% Manage Delivery Strategy and Execution for CBS IA Portfolio -• Administer/oversees general workforce administration policies and programs in the areas of communications, staffing, training, evaluations, disciplinary actions and safety.
• Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement and through subordinate managers.
• Develop planning for future workforce needs in direct control and participates in the selection of employees. Manages to outcomes across needs in ecosystem (region/partners/value enablers).
• Responsible for developing strong leaders and in a global, diverse workforce by seeking multiple approaches to source/attract diverse talent. Incorporates diversity in succession planning and job fulfillment.
• Communicate key decisions, Cargill information and other enabling information to team
• Accountable for medium-term outlook workforce planning and for performance management, talent development, succession planning, coaching, and engagement for team.
• Lead and implements systems and processes to maintain a highly engaged workforce. Holds direct reports accountable for actively addressing engagement issues and identifies/leverages best practices in engagement. Ensure delivery of quality work product by team.
• Responsible for financial management across team and business planning (forecasting, reporting P&L, etc.).
o Participate in the annual business planning process.
o Establish the overall fiscal year budget and pricing/recovery
o Responsible for the Optimization of the TCO.
15% Relationship and Service Management -• Build and maintain effective relationships with external service providers including SOWs, SLAs, KPI and metric measurement and management ensuring continuous improvement process & build/change leadership performance in alignment with expectations of the business.
• Ensures processes and tools are executed and implemented consistently in the direction of the strategy and governance.
• Lead and participate in relevant governance teams to communicate/manage service levels, key project status, and vendor management as needed to help prioritize and manage change and project delivery.
• Prepare, lead, and own the establishment of an end to end service delivery model in alignment with the Global IT delivery strategy and capability
• Establish external connections and relationships within the industry enabling sharing and learning with industries peers.
10% Business Results, Metrics, Scorecards and Reporting -• Define expectations for program/project delivery scorecarding with PMO teams and key stakeholders including BPs for executive engagement. Ensure quality gates/reviews.
• Maintain metrics of business/operational performance and evaluates trends. Prepares and executes plans to improve operational support, addressing concerns and needs with high performance solutions.
• Leads and facilitates portfolio performance and stake holder reviews.
• Develops internal marketing & outreach plans to stakeholder groups (peer to peer, outside in etc.) to drive excitement, recruiting and value recognition for the portfolio and partnering.
• Ensure appropriate metrics (Risk, Issues, Project Status, Resource Utilization, etc.) are maintained, analyzed and acted on in order to ensure effectiveness.

Qualifications -
Education, Experience, Skills -
Minimum Required Qualifications -
• Expertise in RPA (Automation Anywhere), Python, ML and database concepts
• Ability to learn latest developments on RPA (Automation Anywhere), ML and Deep Learning
• Stay updated on the releases of RPA platforms, ML & Deep learning solutions.
• Working experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery practices (Drone, etc.)
• Knowledge of public cloud services (AWS, preferably) and API's
• Experience in an agile environment – focused on advocacy and puritan beliefs
• Self-reliant, assertive, passionate and humble
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science
• 15+ years managing in technology design and development teams or operational support environments
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, scalable, and global development environments and offshore/managed delivery models across multiple process areas
• Demonstrated experience managing cost/quality/schedule controls
• Demonstrated experience in multiple areas of solution design and build (e.g. Standards, Patterns, Architectures, etc.)
• Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to lead large diverse and distributed teams
• Experience interacting effectively and appropriately using technical and non-technical communication with various levels of the organization including internal and external partners, management, and business/function partners
• Experience of working in matrixed organization.
• Ability to travel up to 20%
• Fluency in English
