Job Description
Associate Sourcing Manager
- Associate Sourcing Manager (Small to Medium Category Management /Tactical Sourcing)
- Assist in executing the existing tactical sourcing initiatives aligned with the Sourcing groups’ objectives. Lead smaller negotiations and sourcing engagements including process activities such as e-sourcing, Project management, etc., as assigned.
- Apply sourcing practices and manage low & medium spend supplier negotiations to ensure full benefits are realized and sustained.
- Continuously manage priorities effectively, focusing on efficient work results. Manage a project against a plan and objectives to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in budget, timing or quality of work.
- Monitor and keep up to date with related supplier-specific business activities as well as the extended category industry. Present/update all pertinent supplier and/or industry issues to stakeholders and immediate management and propose recommendations as they apply to exis

- Develop customer relationship and add value through working with cross functional teams, maintain alignment with the business objectives.
- Create, renegotiate, renew, and discontinue supplier agreements or contracts as appropriate.
- Lead and monitor supplier rationalization initiatives and recommend so that deliver to business objectives and achieve sustainable cost savings.
- Collaborate and share expertise within the Sourcing community to help build and/or expand our knowledge base and expertise.
- Support to achieve the targeted results against Sourcing objectives which include a group cost savings goal identified annually and typically in excess of $100M.
- Ensure effective process and communication channels are in place to maximize the delivery and implementation of any sourcing activity.
