Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking Associate Architect, who will be responsible for Designing, and implementing large scale enterprise applications, reusable framework/solution, possess strong technical skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Elevance SE, Business, Dev and LO Teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

As an Associate Architect, will be responsible for the following:

Must Have:

· Proficient in Java, J2EE and distributed system with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and Full stack experience

· Domain knowledge for Healthcare Insurance is desirable. Mandatory understanding of integrated systems across Healthcare Insurance

· Strong leadership of technical teams in a distributed environment

· 5 or more years related experience in relevant technologies/roles; 12+ years Overall experience and

· 1+ years working in an Architect role including designing, building and maintaining solutions, including cloud-based solutions.

· Experience designing microservice architecture and/or various database technologies.

· Conceptual and analytical skills – ability to extract, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements/strategies.

· Good understanding of solution architecture

· Create innovative and practical designs that account for the end-to-end technical solution, in line with the business strategy and objectives.

· Identify, define and implementing reusable assets and standards. The solution architect is also responsible for adherence to these standards and consumption of reusable assets across products and portfolios.

· Work with Different team (LO & Dev) to understand the issue and provide recommendation.

· Demonstrated self-motivation and accountability, flexibility.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and internal and/or external customers.

· Good knowledge of Agile process

· Proven ability to understand technological infrastructure and how it relates to project solutions and integrations, demonstrate the relationship of data structures as they relate to integrated systems solutions on a healthcare system.

· Demonstrates excellent consultative, solution selling skills and technical leadership.

· Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly; ability to think abstractly.

· Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent degree

· Ability to think out of the box and be innovative.

· Ability to influence stakeholders and guide towards a workable solution

QUALIFICATION

· Bachelor/MS of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent degree

EXPERIENCE

· With experience in minimum 8+ years’ experience in Java development and Design

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

· Responsible for responsible Developing, Designing, and implementing large scale enterprise applications.

· Possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent and confident verbal and written communication skills.

· Supports the coordination of data change within release management cycle.

Example work includes:

· Developing end to end web applications using Java Full stack techs like spring boot and Angular and Node JS

· Proficient in Java, J2EE and Distributed system with a good knowledge of its ecosystems

· Solid understanding of fundamental design and architecture patterns such as: n-tier, Publish/Subscribe, REST, MVC, Microservices, Data Access (OR/M, DAO’s…etc.), Integration tools, Knowledge of SOAP, REST and XML technologies (XML, XPath, XSL, XML Schema, RNG, DTD, XQuery, DOM, etc.)

· Good hands-on experience with MVC, JDBC, RESTful, SOAP and Micro Services.

· Experience with popular application frameworks, such as Spring, JSF, Struts, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Prime faces… Etc and UI frameworks such as React, Angular, Jquery etc.

· Experience in Database (SQL) database design, Query Development, and performance tuning as applicable w.r.t Oracle/DB2/Mongo DB

· Experience / knowledge of healthcare systems and comprehensive understanding of large healthcare payer overall structure, processes, functions including Claims, Membership and Provider processing is an asset.

· Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, MS SharePoint etc. is an asset.

· 5 or more years related experience in relevant technologies/roles; 10+ years Overall experience.

· 3+ years working in an Architect role.

· Adherence to best coding practices and principles

· Good Knowledge of performance tuning and provide optimal code.

· Experience in Performance tools like Wily.

· Should have good exposure to CI/CD frameworks like Jenkins, Docker etc. See Less
