About Event

The Genpact Centre for Women’s Leadership (GCWL) is facilitating the Breakthrough training programme for women aspiring to rebuild and strengthen their careers post maternity. The training, to be conducted in three phases from August to October 2018, will offer a comprehensive training and learning experience for women aiming to chart a successful career trajectory post maternity. The training facilitates women to chart a career trajectory through mapping their journeys and provides them with skills and tools to re-join the workforce and have an impactful workspace presence.

Target Audience

The Breakthrough Training is specifically targeted at the following cohorts:

• Returning Mothers (Mothers wishing to return to work after their maternity break)
• Working Mothers (Mothers who have resumed work after their maternity break)

Training Schedule

The training will be conducted in three phases. Women selected for the training will participate in all three phases to graduate successfully. The cost of INR 1000.00 is a one-time payment that covers participation across the three phases.

• Phase 1 | August 7 – 9, 2018
• Phase 2 | September 17-18, 2018
• Phase 3 | October 25-26, 2018

Training Objectives

The insights from the research have been used to design a programmatic intervention to support & empower returning and working mothers at workplaces. Through the Breakthrough training sessions, GCWL aims to achieve the following objectives:

• Address mid-career attrition among women and strengthen the pipeline to leadership
• Capacity building to enhance work productivity and create effective work-life balance
• Assist women to re-join the workforce through industry networking opportunities
• Create & strengthen a community/consortium of support for women returning to work post maternity
