GF India Programs, Initiatives, Groups

Communities & clubs: Voluntary, employee-led groups that foster a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with GF's organizational mission, vision, and values. 

GLOBALWOMEN (GW): An alliance of women and men who work together to create a sustainable framework for the professional development of women at GF. The GW Chapter in India organizes expert-driven sessions, health and wellness workshops and an annual event on International Women's Day celebrating our women achievers. 

Cultural Committee: The India Cultural Committee Team brings together employees across all business units to jointly shape the company’s culture. We organize and drive events for employees that celebrates different traditions, festivities, regions, and culture of India. Employees indulge in the celebration with traditional and modern dance forms, musical performances, theatre and art! 

Sports Committee: GF India actively participates in various sports events that promote employees to maintain their physical fitness. We partner with sports arenas in the area to facilitate employee's participation in different sports, conduct indoor and outdoor tournaments which garner enthusiasm from employees. The Sports Committee organizes and enables these events. 

AR / VR Experience: In our AR/VR Innovation Lab, we offer the chance to experience the possibilities of the 'Mixed Reality'. With Virtual Reality (VR) headsets and our 'Virtual Fab Experience', employees can explore different areas of our site and learn interesting facts about our production in a playful way.

YOUR CAREER 

Career Week: A 5-day long event at GF India, to help employees understand GF’s nature of business end-to-end, how the India site works and the various growth opportunities available within GF. It also helps employees identify local mentors and provides site-wide networking opportunities. 

Employee Development Days: Global educational programming focused on employee skill growth and career development topics. Employees would have the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts across the globe and engage with all learning resources the company has to offer. 

SkillSoft Learning Modules: Access to thousands of courses in skill development topics that cover anything from communication to computer programming. Employees are regularly challenged to expand their knowledge through a variety of recommended content. 

Management & Leadership Development: GF offers several instructor-led courses aimed at developing competencies of the company's people leaders and supporting all employees on their path to effective communication and team effectiveness. 

External course sponsorship & Professional membership: Sponsorship for executive, technical & professional certifications/courses, and enrollment with Professional Clubs/Institutions.  

Service appreciation: Employees are eligible for service appreciation remuneration based on their years of service with the company.

CSR Initiatives: GlobalGives draws upon the collective power of our employees to improve the quality of life in our communities. Together, we are making a difference in support of education, philanthropy, and the environment. As we build a sustainable global framework for community involvement, employees and teams are encouraged to make donations and volunteer, both on their own time and as allowed by their managers during business hours. 

At GFIndia, we not only serve communities in Bangalore but also touch upon the lives of rural and tribal sectors in Karnataka. GF India donates to NGOs and contributes teaching aids for skill development, smart class and computer lab setups, healthcare equipment, environmental solutions and much more. 

STEM Activities: STEM is a corporate funded initiative established to build regional STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities in each GF location. GF India organizes field trips, 'Show & Tell' workshops, celebrates National Science Day and engages children from different underprivileged schools to spread awareness about the importance and growth opportunities in Science & Technology.
