You will be challenged with unparalleled complex business problems that spans across multiple countries, highest number of users and the highest data volume in the world.Your Responsibility• Drive design, development, implementation and documentation• Build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting associates of Walmart worldwide.• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.• Drive the success of the implementation by applying technical skills, to design and build enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives.• Work closely with the Architects and cross functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery). You have a flair to setup new process and bring in a innovative mindset to drive the team.Your Qualifications• Bachelor or equivalent / above degree in Computer Science.• 3 + years of experience in design and development of highly-scalable applications and platform development.• Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, databases.• Deep experience with Java ecosystem and open source tools to design and develop robust high-performance and scalable applications for use within the Walmart product ecosystem.• Experience in Java 7/8, functional map-reduce programming, stream processing, NoSql datastores. .• Hands on experience with RESTful Webservices, microservice development and techniques to unit test and integration test these services.• Strong in Frontend Technologies (Javascript/ReactJs/HTML/CSS/Backbone/AngularJs and other related frameworks.• Hands on experience with workflow engines (ex. Activiti, jBPM, etc) and rules engine (ex Drools)• Practitioner of Agile (Scrum) methodology See Less
