Women friendly policies
All women employees at Philips are entitled to fully paid maternity leave of twenty-six weeks.
Child Adoption: Child adoption is treated as similar to childbirth at Philips. An employee who legally adopts a child or is a commissioning mother is entitled to the same benefits as normal birth from the date when the child is handed over to the mother.
Philips Paternity policy enables fathers (including father of a legally adopted child) to provide care to the child, develop an emotional bond and share responsibility with the mother. At Philips, we understand and acknowledge fully that men also need to balance work and family commitments during this crucial time & life event.
All male employees can avail a total of 8 calendar weeks’ of Paternity Leave till the child turns 2.
To support female employees in taking care of their young children while the employee is at work, we offer reimbursement of expenses incurred by female employees for any fee paid towards a Crèche/Day care center
Prevention of Sexual harassment Policy
At Philips, we have a sexual harassment policy for prevention, prohibition, and redressal against sexual harassment of women employees at workplace.
Work From Home Policy
Philips provides employees the flexibility of working from home for upto 5 days in a month. Based on the need, this may be extended post agreement within teams. We believe that an environment that encourages you to work at your best is the perfect work environment.
Reduced Working Hours
The policy on reduced working hours has been designed to facilitate employees who wish to voluntarily reduce their working hours, to attend to personal, family and educational needs. Employees can opt for either “Reduced working hours” each day or “Reduced working days” in a week.
