Mellener is often invited to speak at external Diversity and Inclusion events and conferences. In 2018, she was invited as a guest speaker to the United Nations Women Gender Focal Point Meeting in Geneva
Recognized as a thought leader in Diversity and Inclusion Mellener as a guest faculty member for the 2018 and 2019 Certified Diversity Professional Program (CDP) in India. She is currently on the Task Force for implementing the THIS IS ME campaign in India. She is honored to be included as an Expert panelist for the 2021 Review of the Global D&I Benchmarks by the Centre for Global Talent and Inclusion NYC USA.Under her leadership Northern Trust India has been recognized for the work done by the organization in India in several forums
Paying it forward is something that Mellener strongly believes in recognizing the many women who have helped her professionally and personally. She is delighted to be MENTOR for the 2020 LEAD A LIKE GIRL SHENOMICS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM. She has mentored and advised many women in their careers
Pursing a passion, Mellener has a keen interest in mental health and mindfulness. She is a Mental Health First Aider accredited both by MHFA India (2018) and MHFA England (2019) and is working towards becoming an instructor. She has a keen interest in mindfulness and mindful way of living.Her personal mission is to work towards being more grateful, more mindful and working towards creating kinder communities at work and beyond.
