Malini describes this experience like a scene from a circus. Just like a clown juggles bright colored cups and some fall yet some he holds on to. Similarly during a day in the life of a working mother..., where multiple activities must be juggled, some activities will fall, like the clown’s colored cups. The skill is in knowing which ones to let fall and which ones to hold on to with dear life! With a motto “ This too shall pass”! Some milestones from the motherhood journey: • The day the principal from Malini’s children’s school called her for a meeting that she thought was a complaint but it turned out to be overwhelming praise for her twin daughters and their contribution to the school! • When her daughter won the 4C’s award (Excellence in being compassionate, Caring, Considerate, courteous) for the 10th year in a row, that’s her entire school life thus far! • Malini’s daughter was school sports captain and she addressed the entire school in her speech for the first time, winning a standing ovation. • When her twin daughters won the Delhi State Football Tournament. The first ever twins in the school football team!
