Consistent track record of building world-class engineering teams ground up with deep business know ... ledge. I have been an ardent advocate of Diversity and Inclusion across teams and companies I have worked for.
Having risen through the ladder, I have a good understanding of impediments that come in the way of career progression for people in general and women in particular. Being part of several listening forums and mentoring groups, I often share my personal experiences to inspire and enable people in overcoming their barriers. I must say these sessions are as much learning for me as it is for the audience. I have grown tremendously as a leader and as a person by these interactions with amazing people.
I have lead several innovation initiatives in both technology and process areas, which have resulted in operational and quality gains. I have guided and reviewed many patent applications many of which have been accepted.
I firmly believe that true empowerment comes from strong education and have been supporting this cause in various ways, which include but not restricted to, giving guest lectures, sponsoring for bright and needy kids.
Being a mother is a full-time job with no retirement! Motherhood has taught me several things - to be patient, to appreciate different perspectives, to prioritise right, to let go and to just have fun and enjoy every moment!
