Job Description

Primary Focus: Be a change agent and drive agile culture in the Aviation DT organization. Creating stable software development system: Collaborating with team on consistent and effective execution of Scrum Practices. The Agile Leader’s sphere of influence is to reach out into the business in order to work with product team members to effectively apply agile practices.Qualifications/Requirements :
Certified Scrum Master
Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum mentor, scrum master or product owner.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the software domain
Essential Responsibilities :

Articulate the value, intent and purpose of Agile to every level of the organization
Fosters growth, learning and utilization of Agile methodology and implements different Agile Methodologies where appropriate – flexible based on team dynamics

In the role of Agile and Scrum Mentor you will:

Coach teams on agile and scrum basics and help to educate and improve on their Agile practices.
Coach teams on effective execution of Scrum ceremonies through Sprint Planning,
Retrospectives, Daily Standups e.t.c.
Work with Product owner to drive Product Vision, build healthy backlog and make sure that team works on the right business outcomes
Coach Product Owners on user story writing, backlog grooming and how to deliver the most value-added features earlier on in the product’s lifecycle.
Coach Product Owners and teams on how to decompose high level requirements into user stories using techniques such as User Story Mapping.
Removes roadblocks and make sure that team is focused, productive and able to achieve sprint goals
Creates an environment of self-organization and drive ownership and accountability in teams
Facilitate release planning sessions and assist teams in working through a product development thought process instead of project focused.
Co-work with other Scrum Masters to drive technical transformation across teams thereby taking teams to the next level of agility.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by inspection and adoption
Be a Rally expert and coach teams in Rally adoption/usage.
