Job Description
- Experience of designing rail hardware components; railway experience is highly recommended
- Modeling/engineering of components from pantograph, main circuit breaker, traction converter, transformer, inverter, to motor
- Ability to perform calculations such as related to battery sizing or power consumption
- Electromagnetic Compatibility expertise.
- Report to the Alstom Domain Manager
- Responsible for complete end-to-end engineering of these subsystems and their integration, assigned as work packages
- Co-ordinate with other system engineers
- Technically mentor rest of the team
- System Engineers with prior experience of working in consulting role in Rail Sector industry
- Has in-depth knowledge of the physics and calculations behind the various design algorithms in any of the these areas; able to de
