Appdynamics SMELocation - BangaloreOverviewWe are currently looking a AppDynamics SME to help our customers with the design, architecture, implementation and configuration of AppDynamics. Prior implementation and customizations experience with APM tools such as AppDynamics in Windows and Unix environments is appreciated.Candidate is responsible for building the deployment architecture that is scalable; resilient; and cost- effective; provide DevOps personnel with guidelines and best practices for usage, optimize use of APM across platforms and service delivery models and promote usage of APM during the development lifecycle phase;ResponsibilitiesEngineer solutions and establish standards for AppDynamics Controller and agent deployments, including optimizations and tunings per requirements.
Support application users in adopting the AppDynamics for usage in Cloud IaaS and PaaS models.
Implementing / Configuring Agents, Browser RUM,Health Rules Tiers and Nodes in AppDynamics.

Splitting Business Transactions and Service End Points via different modes like getter chains, payload.
Configuration for the monitoring of performance of Key Business Transactions in AppDynamics.
Build AppDynamics dashboards, generate Monthly Operational Reports
Integrate AppDynamics with third party products
Participate actively during application deployments and upgrades
Deployment of hosts, software/ services, patches and hotfixes, add- ins etc.
Setup and Analyze AppDynamics analytical data to predict future performance based on historical trends
Monitor the responsiveness and availability of critical websites and web applications from end- user perspective.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client service, efficiency, and profitability.
Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in- depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Provide direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
Plan an authentication and authorization model for AppDynamics within standard Client security framework. Develop customizations as needed.
Seek opportunities for integration of AppDynamics with other monitoring tools in the Client portfolio.
Qualifications and Skillset :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline Strong AppDynamics product knowledge, internals, and product REST API. Extensive industry experience in deploying AppDynamics for mission critical applications. Strong technical skill sets in Python/Java and Unix shell scripting. Exposure to full application lifecycle development including coding; testing; deployment; and post- implementation activities. Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills. Exposure to Cloud environments such as CloudFoundry. Exposure to authentication and entitlement management with LDAP or SAML. Exposure to Middleware components such as WebServer, AppServer, Messaging, Integration.Experience :7 -10 years See Less
