We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to lead our software development community, establish best practices and standardize processes. The CoE mission is to Drive adoption of innovative Software Development tools, technologies and best practices through a community of experts. Our vision is to Transform software development capability to improve agility, quality, security and customer experience enabling companieto accelerate software development. The successful candidate will have the technical depth and breadth, connected to industry and provide technical leadership for development teams across the organization.You will be driving transformation across organization through influence.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design scalable, secure solutions for in-house and cloud
Develop standards for the organization and provide technical leadership on solving critical problems
Collaborate across function and technical teams to understand and provide solutions to critical challenges
Introduce modern technologies and guide developers to learn and adopt
Bring industry best practices for Software development
Mentor and guide junior developers

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Technical Requirements:

  • Demonstrated skills with a variety of development methodologies and ability to adapt these to the needs of an organization using Agile processes.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, DevOps (build, continuous integration, deployment tools) and standard methodologies.
  • Experience with modern front end development languages – React, Angular etc
  • Knowledgeable and Experienced with serverless applications, Event driven programming
  • Experience with designing and implementing Microservices, service-oriented architecture, REST based services and orchestration of APIs for web and mobile applications.
  • Very good understanding of multiple software engineering languages including Java, Python, C, C++, Objective C, etc.
  • Understanding of both front-end and back-end web technologies: HTTP(S), XML, JSON, CSS and Javascript solutions based on Java.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, compliance, open-source technologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams about various engineering topics such as system architecture, detailed design, APIs, project schedules etc.
  • Ability to analyze and propose solutions to high value critical challenges for the development teams
  • Ability to communicate with senior executives within the IS&T organization and in business functions
    Experience implantation of DevOps (CI/CD), understanding of process and related tools
    High degree of proficiency with CSS frameworks like Material UI (preferred), Bootstrap or Office UI Fabric

Experience: 15+ Years

Must have experience:

3+ years of experience leading a team of developers, managing projects, operating in collaborative environment.
Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management
