Your Role

Develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications.

Participates in maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Windchill RV&S pune team need a Software Developer at mid experience level who will work on developing and maintaining Windchill Requirements Validation and Source application and at the same time solve complex customer problems efficiently. The work also involves working on creation of new UI using modern UI/UX concepts

Your Day-to-Day

• Prepare work estimates for assigned tasks
• Develop iterative prototypes when appropriate
• Prepare design note(s) per group standards based on an approved set of requirements. A design note shall include at minimum: Requirement statement, problem definition, solution description, test scenarios, migration issues
• Completes all work according to schedule requirements
• Provide ongoing feedback on deliverables
• Write well documented & performing code including source code documentation that meets organizational standards
• Solicit code reviews for your work
• Participate in code reviews of others’ work
• Run unit tests
• Deliver automated tests to QA for inclusion in a regression test bed when appropriate
• Test on multiple configurations
• Acquire knowledge necessary to perform job assignments (technology, product and process)
• Provide input and review to Publications documentation
• Communicating effectively about the work done, rational behind it and the impact on other parts of the product and trade offs that have been made
• Provide timely and complete information and document reviews to the publications group
• Provide timely and complete information to the QA group to facilitate formal testing
