The Customer Technology Health & Wellness team at IDC owns several areas of the Pharmacy
Experience at Store, Online. We are responsible for architecture, design and delivery of
programs within the areas we own. We work on Backend Technologies hosted on premises,
Cloud Hosted and Applications across Web, Android and IOS for Walmart US markets. This
eco system uses Core java Technologies, Azure Cloud Technologies on cloud, React.JS, React
Native, Node.JS, Java for powering app experiences, .net technologies, Python, Shell Scripts,
RDBMS to power instore associates experience.
Your Opportunity:
As a part of the Customer Technology Health & Wellness initiative, you will have the
opportunity to be part of a team that is being built to transform 24 billion dollar business on
technology front and power business innovations to take business to next level. With over 5500
stores and a vibrant business that is catering to millions of Customers, product roadmap is
focused on Tech transformation using cloud based technologies while enabling business to
venture with new & innovative business models with special emphasis on agility, scale and
elegance of solution. The Team you will be leading will have special emphasis on applications
powering instore associate experiences with incremental features rolled out to production store
system and aid the journey in Tech modernization.
Your Responsibility:
As Engineering Manager for Heath & Wellness, you would be responsible to:
1. Sustain and own the product in production which is powering multi billion dollar pharmacy business collaborating closely with counterparts in US.
2. Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies for Pharmacy Store system.
3. Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes
4. Hire, Develop and Retain a strong team of engineers.
Your Qualifications:
An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS in any stream – Computer Science preferred.
10+ years of relevant experience with the following skills
• Strong .net, Java, development track record
• Good understanding of the product and project management space with Agile methodologies.
• Should have working knowledge in Windows and Unix work station
• Should have experience leading at least team of 10 members for minimum of 3 years
• Should have experience working with remote teams across time zones
• A good understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving
• Currently hands on writing and reviewing code
• Experience across the product development SDLC
