Understand the customer's business processes and simulate end-user behavior.
Work closely with the Product and Engineering team to decide functional testing strategies.
Support weekly releases in a month
Document any issues found in a bug tracking system with all pertinent details.
Understand all components of the system architecture at a high level and isolate the components causing an issue, along with documentation of why you believe the issue can be isolated to the specific component.
Develop the automated tests, API tests and load tests.
Write test scenarios and execute automated test scripts.
Highly accurate and detail-oriented.Required Skills2 years of experience in marketplace technology
Experience in designing, developing, debugging and executing automation scripts
Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Estimate, Priorities, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Well versed with writing test cases and bug logging.
Understand functional/technical specifications and analyse server logs.
Look for potential quality issues proactively.
Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
Having Experience in REST API Automation using RestAssured/HTTP-Client is a plus
Experience in CI-CD tools like Jenkins is plus
Hands-on experience in MySQL is a plus
Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix commands is a plus
Experience in performance testing is a plus
Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, problem-solving skills, and troubleshooting skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality.
