Job Description
- Interact with internal stakeholders to identify performance optimization and parallelization opportunities and execute projects through PoC to deployment

- Interact with internal stakeholders to identify performance optimization and parallelization opportunities and execute projects through PoC to deployment
- Build deep understanding of the next generation technology roadmap and its impact on Shell workflows and applications
- Individual contributor reporting to Computational Technology Lead
- Pro-active, thoughtful contributor, able to work independently and in natural teams with multiple stakeholder groups across P&T, IT, business verticals and externally.
- Development experience in one or more parallel programming environments such as MPI, OpenMP etc.
- Development experience with one or more HPC accelerator programming environments such as Nvidia GPUs, Intel Xeon Phi etc.
- Demonstrated experience with performance optimization of scientific applications
- Knowledge of modern HPC systems, CPU/GPU architectures and execution models
- Programming knowledge of C, C++, Fortran, or Java and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Desired Skills - - Proficiency in Linux Shell/Perl/Python scripting
- Experience with performance tools such as Intel Vtune, Intel Advisor and Intel Inspector
- Knowledge of scientific or numerical computing libraries such as Intel MKL
- Experience with parallel file systems
- Experience in porting applications for various compute infrastructures
- Good understanding of Cloud Computing Environments such as AWS, Azure.
