Job Description – Research SupervisorSUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:To be responsible for timely delivery of high quality enhanced due diligence reports; ensuring compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure and other relevant Refinitiv (the “Company”) procedures at all times.
Major Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
- To ensure timely delivery of high quality Enhanced Due diligence reports/projects. Our Enhanced Due diligence reports aim to identify any potential risk factors associated on the subject of investigation by reviewing media articles/company filings/litigation records which are retrieved from open media search, online databases, judiciary and other government departments etc.
- To undertake a quality control review of reports and to give feedback in relation to any omissions and/or errors found.
- To monitor such errors and/or omissions which arise during the review stage and liaise with the Manager in relation to any training needs of his/her team.
- Motivate, guide and communicate with the analysts, throughout the lifecycle of the Enhanced Due diligence reports/projects.
- To interact with the other Research Supervisor, Senior Supervisor, Managers, Head of Research in India as well as with global Case Managers. To develop a good rapport and sound working relationship with them through workload management.
- To complete Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Manager/ Senior Manager/ Head of Research / General Manager.
- Acting as back-up of other Research Supervisors, when required
- Ensuring high quality work is delivered at all times
- Effective time management and ability to work under pressure
- Performing as part of team as well as working well independently
- Meet the productivity targets
- Maintaining regular attendance and reporting to work on time.
- Graduate degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Accounting / Business Administration / or equivalent.
- Must have expert level knowledge of researching and writing EDD reports with at least five year of similar experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good time and task management
- Quality checker skillset
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Candidates who can fluently read and translate to English languages like Sinhalese, Nepalese, Urdu, Bengali, Tamil or any other Indian languages will have added advantage over others
