Job Summary:
Samvith Neuropsychiatric center is a medical facility where multiple consultant psychiatrists who are medical specialists will be working along with psychologists. It will be an out-patient based service which will cater for persons aged 18years and above. The center will work during office hours ( 9 AM to 8 PM with lunch break, Sunday off), Monday-Saturday. Receptionist will be the first contact between patients and the clinic. The role involves daily interaction with the working doctors/psychologists.

Responsibilities and Duties:
-receiving and making phone calls from patients, family members and other external agencies like hospitals/doctors/pharmacy/laboratories
-making/cancelling computer-based appointments (will be trained to identify suitable patients for the centre and patients having emergency needs whom will be directed to appropriate place)
-to explain the functions of the centre to clientele in detail in calm and enthusiastic manner
-reminding patients/family members of the upcoming appointments and following up on the unattended appointments
-maintaining the patient records which will be kept at the centre
-welcoming patients/family members with smile and curtesy
-overseeing the maintenance of the receptionist area and the centre in general (housekeeping will be available)
-keeping the pantry refilled
-maintaining office equipments and manging finances at the reception end (will be trained for collection of fees via various modes)
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Good communication skills
Calm and enthusiastic persona
Fluency in English and Kannada; knowing additional languages will be advantageous
Basic computer skills to deal with computer-based appointment system
Minimum Higher secondary (12th pass)
1-year experience preferred; experience in medical field will be advantageous
