It is a platform where emerging and midsized companies can source technology services while ensuring that the discovery-to-delivery lifecycle of IT projects is handled with expert care.

The Founders of IT Exchange saw that despite an evolved IT industry, midsize companies struggle to find competent IT Service Providers. The idea of a marketplace was thus created as an IT Exchange that connects IT Buyers with IT Service Providers so the midsize business could leverage the benefits of IT outsourcing in the same way as Fortune 500 have been able to do in the last few decades.

Job Profile:

We are looking for someone young with a high aptitude and ability to learn new things, someone with strong analytical skills. If you think you are someone like that then please read on.

Just like any startup it's hard to define a very clear role for individuals but we have made an attempt to do so. However, we are really looking for an all-rounder with Business Analysis and Project Management as key skills.

Here are some of the key things the person will do:

Interface with IT Exchange Buyers to understand and document their requirements
Coordinate transactions being carried out on IT Exchange
Help identify suitable Service Providers from IT Exchange database and coordinate online bidding
Interface with IT Exchange Buyers and Service Providers to understand how project is performing
Should be able to identify and work with a service provider to improve project plans, follow up to get issues resolved
Should be able to understand issues raised by a Buyer on a project and coordinate resolution with the Service Provider
Understand the life cycle of a project / engagement and should be able to follow the project and ensure smooth delivery through the execution stage of the project
Help the founding team with other day to day activities
Desired Skills and Experience:

Engineering degree from reputed college
2-4 years work experience in Project Management/ Coordination or similar role
Strong analytical skills
Good understanding of various SDLCs
Understand technology adequately to be able to have conversations with a Buyer and Service Providers
Should be proficient with MS Office
Strong written and oral communication skills
Understanding of project management functions
Should have experience working in a global virtual environment and should have experience in working with international clients
Self-starter with ability to work with little guidance, independently
