Job Description
Required:
- Experience engineering and administering Redhat Linux/CentOS/RPM bases distributions, configuring and hardening
- Think like a developer, has mind-set of developing infrastructure as a code, innovative & creative
- Using coding skills automate boring tasks, test your own code, test colleague’s code, deploy changes, write documentation
- Demonstrate Ownership mentality and collaboration skills in a fast pace global team
- Strong technical experience as a Systems/Platform Engineer in Linux & Devops
- Configuration management (CHEF/Ansible)
- Knowledge of common programming languages (Ruby, Perl, Python, Bash) will be a plus
- Working experience on Redhat Openshift, PaaS (Platform as a Service)
- Experience with automation and continuous integration frameworks (CI/CD)
- Solving issues quickly and efficiently after hours (on-call).
- Taking care of Linux based offers – logging services, messaging queuing, clouds of containers
- Knowledge of containers framework
- Prior work experience with Redhat Linux and

- Strong understanding of virtualization (VMware vSphere, ESX5+, OpenStack Cloud API)
- Strong understanding of networks, storage, backup concepts
- Strong generic security experience, troubleshooting, monitoring, audit and reporting skills.
- Involvement and ownership of Engineering and design
- Implement configuration management for development and production environments
- Collaboration with colleagues to evaluate features and services for monitoring
- Create new or update process documentation
- Evaluate tools & application and provide recommendations on solutions
- Mentor team members as needed
- Understanding the concepts of incident, problem and change management (ITIL)
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
