What we're looking for:

Your role manages the Workspace Platform Services and End User Devices regional team. You will work with other IT and business teams to deliver best in class enterprise products and support to Citrix internal users. With your team, you will enable the build out, onboarding and operational support of user facing systems and solutions, and actively participate in the incident and outage process to ensure proper root cause analysis and appropriate follow-up with affected contacts. This role calls for a balance of leadership, hands-on technical skills, influence skills, supportive individual contributions, and expertise in enterprise-level operations. You should have extensive experience with Citrix virtualization platforms including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp and XenDesktop). You will need to be able to proactively work alongside your team members in solutioning and solving technical tasks. This is an “Admin Account” position.
Position OverviewIn this role, you will be a hands-on, technical team manager that leads and participates directly in implementing and supporting solutions as part of the Workspace Platform Services and End User Devices team within Citrix IT. The overall team is responsible for all IT managed physical and virtual user endpoints and mobile device management. The team also has responsibility for management of Citrix Cloud enabled components / other private and public cloud based systems, as well as endpoint management (SCCM / Citrix Endpoint Management) and software maintenance of end user systems.Roles and Responsibilities
  • Leading and managing a team of high-performing individual contributors and their ongoing talent development
  • Join in as a technical expert to assist the team with problem resolution and technical solutions.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with multiple internal business groups to ensure the successful delivery of service levels
  • Partner with Global Security Architecture team to ensure secure configurations
  • Manage production environments - driving consistent service delivery and operational excellence through the use of monitoring and automation
  • Act as a technical expert, drive roadmaps and strategy with the Director of Workspace Platform Services
  • Support enterprise applications, infrastructure, virtualization platforms and IT systems across multiple corporate locations, datacenters and in the cloud
  • Identify opportunities for improved proactive monitoring of systems & applications
  • Maintain IT Compliance and Change Control processes
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
Basic QualificationsRelevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience leading and motivating a diverse, technical workforce
  • Ability to be hands on and technical to support systems and infrastructure
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by rhythm of the business
  • Hands on experience with Citrix CVAD (Citrix Virtual Apps/ Desktops)
  • Knowledge of creating and maintaining automated OS builds
  • Knowledge of endpoint management systems and processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, data analysis, and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, strategic/analytical thinker with a can-do attitude, flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills
  • Lifelong Learner with a passion for technology
