Investment Risk & Analytical Services (IRAS), as a subset of C & IS, focuses on Performance, Private Monitor, Risk, and Compliance data analytics and reporting.
In-depth knowledge on capital markets and investment performance.
Good working knowledge of IRAS & related products is a must
Excellent working knowledge of Excel, MS Office suite. Working knowledge of IRAS applications is a must
Familiarity with various investment styles, asset classes, strategies for achieving performance goals, benchmarks, and investment related terminology.
Interest in researching topics, such as substantial shareholder limits and other topics related to our clients’ investment requirements for their global investments.
Experience with industry vended compliance monitoring systems such as Charles River, Bloomberg POMS, RCB Dexia, etc. and/or Mutual Fund Compliance and Risk Monitoring experience is a plus.
Solid working knowledge of Excel
Experience with Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P, and Fitch a plus.
In-depth Investment/ Industry Knowledge /experience with Performance, Compliance or risk
Derivatives
Extensive knowledge and experience on Derivatives product (OTC, Collateral, Valuations, ETD)
Understands Derivatives trade lifecycle and associated functions.
Understands the way Collateral Management function and more closely has an understanding of derivatives markets
Understands the role this function plays in the entire Derivative system / set-up
Understands functions performed by Collateral Management.
Must have extremely good product knowledge about various derivative products
Exposure to cash and trade settlements.
Must be capable of implementing controls related to set-up of a Derivative product on our systems

Investment Operations Outsourcing:Client Reporting:

Responsible for delivery of all client reporting accurately and within specified timeframes
Specific knowledge about portfolio management and portfolio reconciliation.
Knowledge of performance and valuation reporting.

Market Operations:

Specific knowledge of Cash Equities, FI, Repos, FDs and FX Products.
Specific knowledge of all relevant EMEA, US & APAC markets and SSI requirements for each markets Knowledge of specific clearing institutions. – CREST, Euro clear, Austraclear, CCASS etc.
To be a Subject matter expert on confirmations/settlements and ensure all trades are accurately confirmed by T.
Oversight of the confirmation/settlements/fails process.
