Role: Functional Specialist – PLM Accessibility
Description:
Functional Accessibility Specialist is responsible in term on Access management for Applications managed
by PLM Accessibility team.
He/she should be able to analyze and resolve issues independently and work proactively to ensure the
maximum availability of the users in the application.
He/she will take part of the specifications for the takeover of new applications in term on access
management.

Qualification & Experience
- Engineering graduate (preferably in Computer Science) with 2-5 years of experience in
engineering software applications support for end users.
- Ability to learn and master Airbus specific Functional Design (FuD) applications.
- Complex problem solving, ability to diagnose, reproduce & address application issues
- Good understanding of server architecture and Engineering applications.
- Working knowledge of SQL Databases.
- Working knowledge of Linux operations and commands

- Good understanding on Incident management and knowledge management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Complex problem solving, ability to diagnose, reproduce & address application
o Knowledge of Semaphore ( Service Now) : Process & KPI
- Unix, FTS and SFS knowledge appreciated
- Product Lifecycle Management understanding appreciated
- Expertise on Excel appreciated ( Provide KPI quickly)
Responsibilities
● His/her primary functions are knowledge of the Applications in term on Access Management and
the link with REACT application
o In the application :
▪ Global knowledge in terms of access management
▪ Documentation Creation or Update ( mainly dedicated to Operational team)
▪ Update of the structure if it is needed
▪ Project creation
o For REACT ( Request End user Accessibility Common Tool)
▪ Knowledge of the global process (Integration, Workflow, Actors)
▪ Preparation for the integration of the applications in REACT ( New or Update)
● His/her functions also are incident / problem management, Major issues resolution, functional support & Continuous Service Improvements. End-to-end responsibility to assure
● Analyze and propose/implement to Improve incident resolution quality
● Perform incident categorization/classification & find out critical issues/most popular incidents and do root cause analysis
● Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents & trend analysis for proactive measures
● Write/Update knowledge management articles with incident analysis
● Raise and maintain the awareness and knowledge of Applications and related methods within the team organization.
● Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on demand
● Excellent communication skills to work in a globally distributed team
● Develop good understanding on the End to End process in terms of Access management in Airbus

o UEANG Tool Process
o LDAP environment
o Link LDAP Applications
Success Metrics
Success will be measured in a variety of areas, including but not limited to
● Consistently ensure the on-time delivery and quality (first-time-right) by solving problems,
incidents and requests
● Good Knowledge about the applications managed by the team (REACT and Access Rights) and
good knowledge transfer to the operational accessibility team.
