Job Profile / Designation: Finance Executive
 

Job Description:

The person will take on the responsibility for all accounting & finance related tasks at the office. He/she will collaborate and work alongside our existing employees and volunteers in completing the assigned tasks.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Handle end to end Books of Accounts
• Track, classify, file all receipts, vouchers
• Handle petty cash and reimbursements
• Data entry into Quick books including managing cost centres
• Issue receipts for all donations
• Remit statutory payments including PF, Gratuity, TDS and file quarterly returns
• Prepare monthly statement of accounts
• Preparation of budget and variance analysis
• Interact with external auditor for year-end auditing
• Manage periodic legal compliances

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good Interpersonal and communication skills
• Good working knowledge in MS office packages including Excel
• Resourceful, responsible and self-starting
• Ability to manage data efficiently
• Hands-on experience in Quickbooks/Tally
• Prior experience with trust / society accounting would be an advantage

Education Qualification: Graduate in B.Com / B.CS or any equivalent accounting degree

Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience 

Location: Chennai

Reporting to: Executive Director

Expected Age: Below 35

Scope: Flexible working hours

Remuneration: Based on the candidate’s profile
